Antique Wood Puzzle Box, Early Singer Treadle Notions Container
An antique wood puzzle box. The early Singer Sewing Machine Treadle sewing notion container originally had sewing feet and notions (not included) fit into the nickel metal holders. The oak box is marked Patented February 10, 1889. The tongue and groove box has a clasp mechanism and unfolds to flat. The closed wooden box measures approximately 6 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" deep x 3 1/4" tall. In good antique condition with frayed interior fabric.
