A rare, antique puzzle game, Light In the Midst of Darkness, Literal and Symbolical. Manufactured by Geo. C. Whitney, Worcester, Massachusetts. In fine print at the bottom it is noted that it is "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1873, by H.J. Bruce, in the office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington.
The cardboard puzzle is complete, with a paper envelope that provides hints, in its original box which measures approximately 4 1/2" x 3 3/8" x 7/8" tall, and has old pencil writing on the top.
