A wonderful vintage ceramic canoe from Blue Mountain Pottery. This glazed redware pottery canoe is handsome with great color variations and a streamlined stye. The canoe measures approximately 6 1/2" long x 3" wide and is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.

A nice example of BMP and a great addition to the Canadian Pottery collection or for the rustic cabin. Check out my other Blue Mountain Pottery collectibles.

Blue Mountain Pottery (1953-2004) items feature a unique, trademarked glazing process known as "reflowing decorating." Two different liquid glazes, one light and one dark in colour, were applied. During the firing process the glazes would run, creating streaking patterns unique to each piece.
