A vintage First Oil Well Plate. The plate commemorates the Drake Well, first oil well drilled in the US, in Titusville, Pennsylvania. The blue and white plate by Shenango China measures approximately 10 5/8" in diameter. The gold rimmed plate is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
