Vintage Wood Storage Box Canister

Offered is a midcentury wood canister storage box. The handsome box was made in Japan and stamped Woodpecker Woodware. The box features dovetailed corners and a lid with a carved out handle. Classic 1950s, rarely seen unpainted. The unpainted box measures approximately 6" x 4 x 5 1/4" tall. In very good vintage condition with minor scratches, stains, etc., nice aged patina.
