This vintage wooden box originally held Shefford's Cheese. The wood box held 5 lbs of cheese and measures 11 7/16" long x 3 9/16" high and is 4 5/16" deep.

The box has a great vintage patina, with a split on the bottom, and would look great on most window sills with potted herbs or flowers, also useful for desktop storage. A nice set of Americana, back when grocery packaging was saved for decades.
