This is a lovely antique book holder by Judd Mfg. Co. This expandable cast metal is an ornately decorated book holder, circa 1920s is a beautiful example of art nouveau design. Nice topical decoration of a reading scholar with beautiful patina. A nice example for the library or office.
Marked with Judd model number "9823". In very good antique condition. The ends are cast metal and telescoping base rods metal. In very good vintage condition with lovely, old, patina.
External dimensions are approximately 12 1/4" long by 6 1/4"" deep by 5" tall. Adjusts to approximately 22" end to end.
