Antique French Leather Wrapped Brass Nautical Maritime Spyglass

Offered is a rare, antique nautical spyglass. The maritime telescope is made leather wrapped brass. In the interior of the cap, the following is etched, "20x 1200 358". The telescope is in vintage cosmetic condition, with worn brass finish and tarnish, several dents, and an overall great antique patina. Marked Made in France. Untested, I don't know whether you can catch any spies with it, however it does still telescope to approximately 24", the base cap measures 1 3/4" in diameter. Great looking object with antique nautical collectible.
