Antique German Silver Purse by Whiting and Davis

A wonderful antique German silver purse, the metal mesh bag has a kiss closure on the hinged goldtone frame. Marked German Silver on the frame, the purse is a beautiful example of coin purses from the era. Marked on the frame, Whiting & Davis Co., the longest running purse manufacturer in the USA, made in Plainville, Massachusetts.

The purse is in very good vintage condition with the mesh intact, with tarnished patina and age appropriate wear. Overall a lovely antique bag and a great addition to your collection.

The purse measures approximately 5 1/4" tall by 6" wide.
