An antique jewel box with a silk interior. This lovely jewel box was made for Kettel, Blake & Read, Inc., Boston, Massachusetts The blue leather covered box features a cream-colored silk and velvet interior. The store info is on the interior lid. A clam shell style box with hinge. The box is in good vintage condition with silk wear at the hinge; measures approximately 5" long x 1 3/4" wide x 3/4" tall; the velvet interior has a pocket, most likely was used for stick pins.
