Antique Majolica Plate

Antique majolica plate decorated with a tavern scene, a man serving beer in the center surrounded by a shell and acanthus design. Mottled design on the back. No markings, heavy stoneware. Yellow edge, detailed brown center.

The plate is in very good vintage condition with crazing. No cracks, minor fleabites to the edging. A wonderful survivor measuring approximately 10 1/2" in diameter.
