An antique Mauchline Ware pincushion features an image of Boston's Old State House on one side and the Bunker Hill Monument on the other side. The pincushion measures 3 1/42inches by 2 1/2 inches x 2 inches tall. In antique condition with finish loss, staining and an overall old patina. Tiny label says Scotland.
Mauchline Ware was produced in Scotland using sycamore wood with highly detailed transfers. The company produced the wares from 1850 until 1933. Wonderful Massachusetts souvenir.
