Antique New York Beer Bottle by H Koehler & Co.

A rare, antique New York City beer bottle. The greenish clear bottle was from the H. Koehler & Co. for their Fidelio Beer. Embossed 30th St & First Ave, New York, Registered. The brewery changed its name in 1917, the bottle is circa 1897-1917. The bottle includes a porcelain wire stopper that is marked California Wine Co., Prov. R.I. (possibly they were a distributor?) A cool collectible Manhattan bottle that is in very good vintage condition with clouding and interior soiling. The metal closure is rusted; the New York bottle measures approximately 10" tall by 2 3/4" in diameter.
