This is a lovely antique Staffordshire creamer. Features Plymouth Rock, the landing of the Pilgrims, the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor, and the year 1620 on the handle.
Rowland & Marsellus, importers, wholesalers and retailers, especially of 'souvenir' wares operated out of New York, and flourished c.1893 -1938. Following its import from England, the creamer was then sold to A.S. Burbank in Plymouth, Massachusetts; a souvenir marketeer from 1872-1932. This creamer appears to be late 19th century-early 20th century.
