Offered is an antique Printing Set in original dovetailed oak box. The remains of the paper label says, "The Commercial Printing Outfit", A Combination for General Business Hand Printing, A Thousand Rubber Stamps in One, Printing and Addressing; the remaining is illegible. The kit contains two wood handled stems, one rotating stamp, letters and numbers, old pencils, a few tacks and a lead man.
Also in the box is an antique, torn, Boston Elevated Railway ticket with William Hooper signature (he retired as Treasurer in 1908). A fun set with a great look, sold as is, not sure any pieces would still print. The oak box measures approximately 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2". The box is in good antique condition missing its clasp; with an age crack and a fantastic patina.
