An antique Walter Baker Breakfast Cocoa Tin. A nice antique advertising tin for Baker's Cocoa. This primitive collectible tin advertises Walter Baker Co., Ltd., Dorchester, Massachusetts. The Walter Baker Co. is a Boston institution, although the company is long gone, its buildings remain as condos.
The bottom of the tin is barely legible, however I did make out the following some of the lettering including the top edge where it says Walter Baker and Gold Metal.
The tin is in antique condition with rust and finish loss; still displays well. I've taken two sets of photos, one set is in extremely bright sunshine to help to see the details. The other set is a more accurate of what the tin looks like indoors. It measures approximately 3.25" square x 6.25" tall including the removable cap. Great for any Walter Baker collector or to complete your Cocoa tin collection!
