Antique Dovetailed Wood Advertising Box Boston Massachusetts

An antique wood box with advertising on two sides. The box has very faded writing two sides, barely legible, One Doz, Whittemore's French Gloss, MFG. By Whittemore Bros & Co., Boston, U.S.A. Circa late 1800s, the wooden box measures approximately 7 5/8" x 6 1/2", 6" tall. Primitive nails hold the bottom in place, wood is missing on the top edges, please review photos. Whittemore Brothers sold polishes and pastes for footwear and relocated from Boston to Cambridge in 1901.

The box has its original patina and is in overall vintage condition.
