Midcentury Cola Wall Bottle Opener

A cool, midcentury Coca Cola wall bottle opener. Once a mainstay of every gas station and candy store. The STARR "X" opener features the words, "Drink Coca-Cola" embossed in the famous font across the tope in red. The opener is marked Patent 2333088 BROWN CO. N. NEWS, VA. The patent was issued in 1943. The opener was made in Germany circa 1950s, and includes the original, though shabby, box and slotted mounting screws. The condition is vintage with finish issues, has a nice old timey look. The piece measures approximately 2 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" tall.
