An amazing, midcentury atomic rocket mechanical bank! The metal Guided Missile bank was made by Astro Manufacturing circa 1957, enjoys a spring-loaded mechanism that propels a coin into a slot in the rocket's nose. Marked on front fin: CAN. PAT. 150-21482, R D. 1957-A BERZAC CREATION, on back fin: ASTRO MFG. U.S.A., E. DETROIT - U.S. PAT. SND 45961. The bank measures approximately: Ht: 13 1/8" x Width: 3.7/8" x Length: 3 7/8". In good condition with scratches and stains, nice vintage look. A toy key is included!
