An amazing, midcentury atomic rocket mechanical bank! The metal Guided Missile bank was made by Astro Manufacturing circa 1957, enjoys a spring-loaded mechanism that propels a coin into a slot in the rocket's nose. In a shiny silver finish. Marked on front fin: CAN. PAT. 150-21482, R D. 1957-A BERZAC CREATION, on back fin: ASTRO MFG. U.S.A., E. DETROIT - U.S. PAT. SND 45961. The bank measures approximately: Ht: 11 1/2" x Width: 3 7/8". In good vintage condition with wear, scratches and stains, nice vintage look.
