Midcentury Stoneware Coffee Carafe in Original Box

A rare midcentury stoneware coffee carafe in its original box. The Mar-Crest brown stoneware carafe features a Pennsylvania Dutch motif, and was manufactured in Chicago Illinois. The carafe holds 8 cups and is very weighty, although the box claims it is lighter in weight than grandmother's! The carafe is in very good, unused condition and measures approximately 10" by 6 1/4".
