Midcentury Stoneware Pitcher in Original Box

A rare midcentury stoneware pitcher in its original box. The Mar-Crest brown stoneware pitcher features a Pennsylvania Dutch motif, and was manufactured in Chicago Illinois. The pitcher holds 2 1/2 quarts and is very weighty, although the box claims it is lighter in weight than grandmother's! The pitcher is in very good, unused condition and measures approximately 8" tall by 8 1/4" spout to handle.
