Midcentury Tatted Handkerchiefs

This is a vintage lot of vintage hankies with crochet edging. The cotton handkerchiefs are have been tatted with cheerful colors. The hankies vary in measurements with the largest approximately 12" square.

This lot of sweet handkerchiefs make wonderful collectibles or incorporated into a craft project. In very good vintage condition, minor staining on several, they have been stored well.

My grandmother tatted men's hankies for each of her granddaughters. It was amazing to watch her work with such thin thread. A beautiful art form.
