This is a beautiful plate from the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair. This brown and white ceramic plate features cool graphic all around the rim with the Unisphere in the center. Labeled Made in Japan with hanging hoop.
The plate is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It retains its original shine. The plate does have edge blips which appear to be manufacturing flaws. The plate measures 10 " in diameter. The colors are still vibrant and overall this is a great display piece.
The fair was held in 1964-1965 in what is now Flushing Meadow Park in Queens, NY. A nice piece of New York City history!
