A vintage, 1950's Brock of California long dish. The company, founded in 1947, was a participant in the California Pottery industry that was booming in the midcentury.
The long serving dish was in the Chanticleer pattern, a sweet rooster in an ombre brown to beige coloring. I found a photo of Ethel Mertz' kitchen with dishware in this pattern! The long dish measures approximately 11 3/4" x 4 3/8" and is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
