This is a vintage Dorchester Pottery sugar bowl. The stoneware pot has the tradition blue color of Dorchester Pottery, is in the blueberry pattern, and is signed on the bottom with the potter's mark, CAH for Charles Allen Hill. The creamer measures approximately 3 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" in diameter.
The overall vintage condition is very good with no chips or cracks. Overall a great display set and a good addition to the Dorchester Pottery collection. A piece of Boston manufacturing history.
Dorchester Pottery was manufactured in the Dorchester section of Boston through the 1970s and was located on Victory Road (near Lamberts for the locals).
