Offered is a vintage Historical New Bedford Massachusetts souvenir plate. This British Staffordshire transferware plate features the famous Whaleman Statue in the center. This rare plate marked R & M, The Rowland & Marsellus Co., Staffordshire England.
Plate measures approximately 10" in diameter and is a very pretty antique English piece, with surface scratching and crazing.
This is a wonderful Massachusetts souvenir and a wonderful addition to the blue and white collection.
