Vintage Occupied Japan Ceramic Duck Figurine

A 1940s vintage ceramic duck. Hand painted in Occupied Japan, post World War 2. The highly detailed duck has a handsome face and is open at top for use as a planter. The figurine measures approximately 5 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" tall. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
