Offered is a vintage Wedgwood The Old North Church (Christ Church) souvenir plate. This British Staffordshire transferware plate features the church and a pretty floral border. This rare red and white plate imprinted Wedgwood was Made in England by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England. Sole importers, Jones, McDuffee and Stratton, Boston. The historic plate measures approximately 10 1/4" in diameter with no cracks or chips; with minor surface scratching.
The reverse says, "The Old North Church (Christ Church)". "One if by land and two if by sea. And I on the opposite shore will be". Produced exclusively for the Jordan Marsh Company.
