This is a pair of antique eagle bookends. The pair of cast iron bookends are nicely detailed and painted, with the US motto, e pluribus unum at the eagle's head. Circa 1920s, the weighty bookends with hold your heavier books very nicely.
The bookends each measure approximately: height 7 1/4”, width: 4 1/2” and depth: 2”. The bookends are in very good vintage condition with original patina.
