This is a rare collection, a vintage Sawyer's View Master and two sets of United States Navy Bureau of Naval Personnel Training Aids. The viewer is made of a special black plastic called Tenite, it is nicely stylized for the time period. Made in the 1940s, it is an early version of the View Master. US Patent #2,189,285, Foreign Patents Applied For; Made in the U.S.A.
In addition to the View Master, also included are 2 sets of USN Photo Reels with original sleeves. Included are 38 reels marked MK. 14, Mod. 6 m Sight Reticles for 20 mm and 37 reels marked MK 14, Mods. 7 & 8 Sight Reticles for I.I"& 40mm. Amazing WW2 collectible.
The View Master and the reels are in very good vintage condition. The reels are so interesting to view, an aviation relic. For historical reference only, the original box is included, however it is in very poor condition with no top and no markings.
