This is a vintage sewing machine Singer Model 20. This cast iron miniature machine was the third issue of the model 20, a model that was built until the 1970s. This version easily identified from the first issue by the 8 spiraled spokes hand wheel.

This machine includes its original table clamp and its original box. The box has some major wear and the box exterior both lid and bottom has been reinforced at all edges with wide brown paper tape to stabilize its condition. The graphics are still legible and there is a wonderful saying, "As the twig is bent the tree's inclined".

The machine has been used, missing its spool post, surface rust and graphic and finish loss. Sold in non-working, display condition. This 1930s model is a rare model -- and in this condition with the additions -- it is rarer still.

Please review the photos carefully, for an almost 100 year old machine, this is a find. Makes a wonderful addition to the sewing machine collection.
