Vintage South African Township Cape Town Framed Mixed Media Art

A vintage, framed, South African mixed media artist signed piece. The colorful art is framed in a mottled gold frame with a three dimensional scallop pattern. The art work is three dimensional also as there are corrugated sheets used for the various shops. Signed by the artist, and along the bottom it says," Township. Cape Town. South Africa. The frame is in very good vintage condition with minor edge chipping and finish loss. The frame measures approximately 12" x 10" x 1 1/4"--the exposed art measures approximately 6 1/2" x 4 5/8".
