Vintage USS Constitution Wedgwood Souvenir Plate

Offered is a vintage Wedgwood USS Constitution souvenir plate. This British Staffordshire transferware plate features the two ships in battle, Constitution and the Guerriere. This rare red and white plate imprinted Wedgwood was Made in England by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England. Sole importers, Jones, McDuffee and Stratton, Boston. The historic plate measures approximately 10 1/4" in diameter with no cracks or chips; with minor surface scratching.

The reverse says, "The Action Between the Constitution and the Guerriere". It goes on to provide information about the naval victory during the War of 1812. Produced exclusively for the Jordan Marsh Company.
