This wooden tray is a vintage A.J. Wurts Creations souvenir serving tray featuring a whimsical pictorial map of Yellowstone National Park. The wood tray is signed A.J. Wurts Creations, and features a wavy, scalloped routered border and a colorful illustrated decal or applied to the center. The centerpiece is a detailed, retro-style illustrated tourist map of the Park highlighting popular landmarks—such as Old Faithful Geyser, Yellowstone Lake, and more. It also whimsically depicts the park's native wildlife, including grizzly bears, bison, elk, bighorn sheep, and eagles.
Circa 1950s-1960s, the tray is a rustic relic of the midcentury. It measures approximately 13" x 10x x 1". In very good vintage condition with all over finish wear, chips to the wood, decal is still clear and legible.
